The objective of this assignment includes, 1. Identifying relevant concepts related to aging, 2. Relate the concepts presented in the movies to course content, 3. Evaluate whether the course concepts were accurately portrayed in the movie as compared to the content learned in class.
Here is a list of suggested movies that illustrate real life issues for older adults, issues included are: physical changes in aging, death and dying, the use of long-term care, caregiving, retirement and sexuality. You can pick from the suggested movies or you can find your own. If you are diverting from the list below, the movie must be approved by me first. The movie must be viewed on your own outside of class.

The purpose of the paper is to identify, relate and discuss gerontological concepts as they relate to the course content. The paper should include the following:
Identify 2-3 of the most salient gerontology topics portrayed in the movie.
For each concept provide background of how it was depicted in the movie
Relate each concept to course content using evidence from the lecture, textbooks or outside sources.
DO NOT just summarize the movie, include relevant course information to support your viewpoint.
Be sure to use appropriate in text citations and include a full reference page
Lastly, evaluate whether or not each concept was accurately portrayed in the movie based on content knowledge.
